My wonderful friend Caroline-felicity-levy. contacted me and asked if I’d like to take part in this thing called ‘THE NEXT BIG THING’.

Thank you, Caroline. It is designed to raise awareness of my work, or work in progress. We do that by answering ten questions about it. We graciously thank the person who nominated us, and tag up to five other authors whose work could well be that NEXT BIG THING.
Q#1: What is the title of your book?
A father’s obsession
Q#2: Where did the idea for the book come from?
To be honest i always have random things running through my head! One day the idea of the story line just came out of nowhere and i thought, yeah i can go with that. The rest of it developed as i went along.
Q#3: What genre does your book fall under?
well i would probably put it in the paranormal genre, possibly dark fantasy and most definitely adult romance.
Q#4: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
well i have quite a few characters so i will stick to the main ones:
David Boreanaz to play Blake, Chris Hemsworth to play Devon, Ian Somerhalder to play Trey, Channing Tatum to play Jase, Jason Stratham to play Deacon.
For the girls: Mila Kunis to play Megan, Amanda Setfried to play Callie, Nikki Reed to play Sabrina and Ashley Judd to play Beth.
Q#5: What is the one sentence synopsis for the book?
Hmm… Will Megan be able to remain safe, from the twisted fate her father has in store for her?
Q#6: Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
My book is self-published and up on amazon
Q#7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It took me roughly a year to write the first draft, although i have changed it many times since then!
Q#8: What other books would you compare this story to, in your genre?
I can’t say i have come across any books similar to mine that i can compare it to, apart from the shifter aspect of it. Although the readers may have done.
Q#9: Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I guess you could say the characters swimming round in my head inspired me to write it. They needed a home after all!
Q#10: What else about the book might pique the readers’ interest?
Well it is part of a series in which each character will have their own story, also there is quite a lot of steamy action going on. A fair amount of action and very emotional situations, not forgetting the ever popular love triangle thrown into the mix!
The feedback i have received has been amazing so i will leave the choice up to the readers.
I would like to pass the torch onto four deserving authors, and let them tell you all about their work. Their posts will bear the same title and will be live on or around 3rd of December. Here they are:
Tara D Goodyear
Blue Remy
Amy Miles
Ella Grey

All for a good cause!

As i’ve mentioned Hell’s gate and Sweet dreams are books written by Benjamin Daniels. Both really good books and proceeds from both books go to good causes, check out his author page and show your support!

A must read book!

The gates of Hell are open. Angels and Demons fight for our mortality and dominance of earth. The rapture diminishes the human population and very few remain to defend what God gave us. It is up to the Angels to fight the war, the humans to survive and the druids to protect the earth.

Cole wants nothing more than to be left alone until the war is over and see who wins. He doesn’t care for rules of any kind and wants least of all to choose a side. Fate however, has different plans for him. His only friend is being held hostage by a Demon with a plan to win the war and return the earth to what it once was. It is up to him to rescue her with the help of a fallen Angel who comes to his aid to ensure his survival.

The Druids are the only ones who can save his friend, but they have an agenda of their own. The demon is demented but has the best intentions with what she believes. Cole finds himself lusting after the fallen Angel and must choose between her and saving his friend. The problem is that he doesn’t know who he can trust.

Armageddon is here and Hell on earth has just begun.

This is a must read book, i have mentioned it in a previous post and can highly recommend it personally!
