HTC SALSA REVIEW

I love HTC phones but this one i have to say i am very disappointed with, my phone is always by my side and having previously broken my HTC desire i figured this one would be just as good. Sadly i was mistaken! The internal memory is really small, so i figure when you put in a 8GB SD card the problem is taken care of. Wrong! doesn’t matter how big the SD card is, you have to constantly clear caches and data from the phones applications even to take a photo. If you haven’t cleared these things, it won’t even let you view the gallery! You can move only certain applications to the SD card, and if you are like me and brought it for Facebook it runs really slow and Crashes constantly.

I even emailed HTC to see if there is anything that could be done. My response was to clear all caches and data from all applications, in following this advice i manage to wipe out most of the phone! I had no ring tones, wallpapers or even a gallery. Although it did run faster, it hardly solved the problem when there was nothing left on it. I restored it back to factory settings, but the constant clearing of caches and data is annoying. You also have to be careful of which data you remove (sticking with Gmail, Facebook and internet) otherwise you lose other functions.

The battery life is rubbish, has to be charged everyday, sometimes twice depending on what you use it for. Would i rate this phone? Hell no! You can boast its Facebook function all you like, actually being able to use Facebook without it crashing is a different story! Forget even being able to update to a newer version of Facebook because the internal memory is too low. Despite the 8GB SD card!

So there is my rant, i will be replacing this phone soon before i purposely break it out of frustration!
