Blog Hop

Posted: March 6, 2013 in books

I was invited to take part in another blog hop by my lovely author friend Jane Risdon, having taken part in one not so long ago some of my answers may be similar to my previous one. I am also doing this a little differently, the authors I really wanted to nominate are unable to take part due to other commitments but are happy for me to leave their links so you can go over and check out their work.

So this is my book cover, done by the lovely Miranda Stork http://www.moonrosepublishing.com/

1: What is the working title of your book?

The title of my book is Twisted Bloodlines

2: Where did the idea come from for the book?

This is a tough one to answer and I get asked all the time! Really I have no idea where it came from, the beginning of the story line sneaked up on me one day and I decided to write it down then things progressed from there.

3: What genre does your book come under?

I would say the genre would have to be paranormal thriller/romance since it contains both

4: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Having quite a few characters I will just choose the main three:

David Boreanaz to play Blake, Mila Kunis to play Megan and Jason Stratham to play Deacon

5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Will Megan be able to escape the twisted fate her father has planned for her?

6: Who is your book published by?

My book is published by Moon Rose Publishing

7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Roughly a year, but I had changed it quite a few times

8: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

Not really sure what I would compare it with, you have the shifter aspect which is in quite a few books of this genre. I think I will leave that choice up to the readers

9: Who or what inspired you to write this book?

My love of this genre is what led me to write this book and as for who, I would say Richard Laymon and Sherrilyn Kenyon my two favorite authors

10: What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

Well it is the first in the series and you will get to become more familiar with the characters who will each have their own story as the series progresses. Lots of hot guys, plenty of action and also a very creepy bad guy. And not forgetting a love triangle thrown into the mix.

So that’s the end of my Q&A, below are the links to seven wonderful authors. Some I have mentioned before but all equally brilliant in their work

Here is Jane’s link who so kindly invited me to do this, go check out what she has to say about her work:
