I had a little fun on pinterest and made a storyboard for Twisted Bloodlines, I have numbered the pins since they went up randomly and I can’t seem to rearrange them. Go and take a look and let me know what you think πŸ™‚

Things to come

So I haven’t posted for a while, my reason? Well I just had my baby girl nearly two weeks ago, plus I’ve been frantically finishing my second edits for the next book in the Twisted Bloodlines series, titled ‘Conceived from evil’. I’m also trying to write the fourth in the series as well as needing to type up and edit the third, so I’m busy busy πŸ™‚ I haven’t forgotten about you all, so please keep following and I hope to get up some good posts soon. I did add my review from a book I finally managed to finish reading while in hospital so take a look πŸ™‚

Book review

Posted: November 20, 2013 in books

Okay, so I finally finished this after many months of reading, which really says it all 😦 The black dagger brotherhood series is one of my favorites, and I was left quite disappointed with this book. It seemed to drag and didn’t really hold my interest like the others in the series did, hence the many months it took me to read it. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with M/M in a book. I love Blay and Quinn, and was really looking forward to them getting together but it really lacked for me compared to the rest of the series, come on J.R where’s your spark gone! Sadly I give this book 3 and a half stars, the only reason I finished it was because I loved the rest of them and hate to leave a book half read 😦

A date with Luke

My latest post over on the Twisted Bloodlines blog is a fun one, I decided to have a date with one of my characters, the lucky guy, Luke. The quote below kind of sums it up, but go ahead and take a look πŸ™‚

Is Halloween fading out?

Posted: November 2, 2013 in books

Is it me or is Halloween not like it used to be? I only had one person knock on my door this year and last year wasn’t much better. My little ones went out and said there were numerous signs on doors, stating that they didn’t want anyone to knock. That is a new one on me, so why the sudden change? I know when you grow older and have kids of your own, Halloween isn’t as exciting as it used to be but as the years have passed I find people have been a lot more reluctant to take part. Maybe it’s because of the rise in gangs that have people scared, well at least in the UK, I can’t speak for everyone else. Am I the only one who has noticed this?
