In the words of Elsa, “let it go”

We all love our kids and want to do what’s best for them. If we see they are hurting, our instinct is to help but sometimes that isn’t appreciated. We’re labeled as interfering and told to mind our own business. It hurts but at the end of the day what can you do? As hard as it is, and I should know, you have to leave them to it. Even if your 100% positive that they are going to fall flat on their face you have to take a step back. Let them make their own mistakes and hope that they come out on the right side, if not, let them know you’re there for them. Despite knowing they are being dragged down it is hopeless trying to tell them, all you’re achieving is dragging yourself down. Life is about choices, failure and mistakes. We all have to experience it and learn from it and hope to become a better person in the end. I’ve finally come to the decision to let it go. What will be, will be 😀
